GMA Recap – Official Start Of The Year!
On October 14th, IBS-U held its first General Members Assembly (GMA) of the year (after being “hammered in” last June): a key moment to reflect, discuss, and officially approve the documents guiding our association for the upcoming academic year.
Purpose of the GMA: The goal of this session was to present and approve our official documentation, outline the mission and vision of IBS-U for 2025–2026, and give members the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and contribute to shaping the direction of our association.
Key highlights include the main changes with:
- Introduction of the internal Rules of Operation (new document),
- Updated Policy Plan with our association objectives,
- Fixed Board Meeting schedule on Mondays,
- Clearer Committee Structure with new positions & guidelines,
- Focus on the Green Label sustainability goal.
We also overviewed our Year Plan, Year Budget & Collaboration Opportunities.
We would like to thank all (Active) Members who attended the GMA. Your feedback, questions, and votes help us improve and continue building a stronger, more dynamic IBS-U community.
Warm regards,
The 19th Board of IBS-U. ❤️💙
P.S.: The approved documentation including the Policy Plan, Rules of Operation – for members only, and Year Plan for 2025–2026 are now available on our website (visit our ‘Documents’ page).
