International Business School-Union

Who are we?

The International Business School Union (IBS-U) is a study association founded in 2007 for aspiring business students at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.

Led by a dedicated board and supported by seven active committees, IBS-U organizes a wide range of events and activities from September to July. These include the introduction week for new students, networking events, business workshops, social activities, charity initiatives, and trips such as the annual ski trip and Christmas market visit.

Our mission is to create a dynamic environment where students can develop their skills, grow their networks, and build meaningful relationships that support their future careers. We also aim to enrich student life by offering extracurricular opportunities alongside academic studies.

Through our events, students can make new friends, explore the city and campus, connect with peers from other programs through joint events, and grow both personally and professionally.
